Marlee Alloway has joined Gardian for work experience during the summer holidays and is also completing a traineeship with us, working one day a week on Wednesdays. Marlee will soon be entering Year 11 and 12 at St. Patrick’s College, with her previous schooling completed at HSC.

Currently, Marlee is studying for her Certificate III in Business and has identified real estate as a potential career path. Through her time at Gardian she has been exposed to various aspects of the business and has shown great enthusiasm for the work.

When asked what she enjoys most about Gardian, Marlee highlighted the people and the atmosphere, describing the workplace as fun and engaging. She enjoys the work she does, which includes:

-Answering phones,  

-Greeting and assisting the public,  

-Directing clients to the appropriate team members,  

-Working on small projects as requested by the team, and  

-Learning how to process applications in property management.  

Marlee has proven to be a valuable team member, always ready to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. Her experience at Gardian is contributing to her traineeship and is helping her consider future roles such as an administration assistant or an associate to one of our agents.

Outside of work and school, Marlee stays active and busy. She loves netball and plays regularly, enjoys spending time with her dog and cat, she is a frequent visitor to the gym, and works at the Surf Club in Mackay to save up for her first car.

We’re thrilled to have Marlee as part of the team and look forward to supporting her as she develops her skills and explores her future in real estate.
