Hamish started with Gardian in 2020, having worked in accounting and financial planning for over 10 years in Mackay, Melbourne and Brisbane. He focuses on providing his clients with a wide range of advice, from simple advice early in life, to setting up complex investment and retirement planning strategies. Hamish is the Responsible Manager for our in house Australian Financial Services Licence for Gardian Financial Planning and is a SMSF Specialist Advisor. Melanie is a Mackay local and began with Gardian in 2020 as a client services officer and brings a wealth of experience to the business with a varied administrative background. Her strong customer service skills help our clients stay on track with their financial goals and ensure they receive a stress free experience throughout the process. Outside of work she is kept busy being a Mum to her 2 kids and enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her 2 dogs.

Adel joined Gardian Financial Planning in 2025 as a receptionist, eager to expand her knowledge and skillset in the financial sector. With a strong background in retail and extensive experience in customer service, Adel is dedicated to delivering a welcoming first impression and ensuring a positive experience for every client. Carmen joined Gardian Financial Planning as a Client Services Officer in March 2025, bringing 12 years of experience in the financial planning industry. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep passion for helping clients navigate their financial goals. With a strong focus on building lasting relationships, she takes pride in helping guide clients through their financial journeys. Outside work, she is a proud mum to twin boys and enjoys spending quality time with her partner and their French bulldog, Tank. Whether they are out exploring the outdoors or enjoying cozy moments at home, family plays a central role in her life. This balance between work and family allows her to bring a genuine sense of care and understanding to her professional role, ensuring that she offers the best support to those she works with.

Justin joined Guardian in early 2025 as a Client Service Officer, bringing valuable experience from the property management and financial planning industries in Brisbane. With a strong passion for business and finance, he is currently working towards his Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning. Outside of work, Justin enjoys visiting his family in Brisbane with his wife.
