How do you cope with tropical heat and humidity?

I moved to Mackay from Brisbane and whilst it's hotter here in Mackay I've adjusted easier than I thought. The heat isn't anything some shade, a fan, the aircon or a dip in the pool can't fix.

Her multi-faceted approach to beating the heat - utilizing shade, fans, air conditioning, and swimming pools - demonstrates the various ways residents can comfortably enjoy Mackay's warm weather year-round.

Please share ideas about spotting platypuses in the Pioneer Valley.

I've been lucky enough to see a platypus once in the pioneer valley. This was on one of our drives up to Eungella National Park, my daughter likes to stop at Broken river for a walk and to see what animals we can spot. It is always a nice walk and we always make sure to stop on the way home to look at the views from the Sky Window.

How do you prepare for cyclone season?

I wouldn't say I've ever "prepared" for cyclone season. We always have our important documents in a waterproof document wallet and have 2 cartons of water in the garage.
๐ŸŒ€ Cyclone Readiness:ย While Jessica's approach to cyclone preparation is relatively casual, she does highlight some important basics. Keeping important documents safe and having a water supply are crucial steps. However, it's worth noting that comprehensive cyclone preparation typically involves more extensive measures, as recommended by local authorities.
