The Spark of Inspiration

Our quest began with Simon Sinek's revolutionary book and conference, "Start with Why". Sinek's 'Golden Circle' concept resonated deeply with our leadership team. His core message - "People don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it" - struck a chord and aligned perfectly with the direction we were already heading in our business culture and development journey.

Collaborative Value Creation

In June 2018, we embarked on an inclusive process that would define our company's future. Every single member of the Gardian team participated in identifying:
  • The kind of workplace they wanted to be part of
  • The type of people they wanted to work with
  • The virtues and behaviours we should encourage
This collaborative effort culminated in the creation of our 6 Company Values - principles that now guide every aspect of our work and interactions.

Our 'Why' Emerges

Through this process of introspection and collective decision-making, something beautiful happened - our Company 'Why' was born. It wasn't imposed from the top down, but organically grew from the shared vision of our entire team.

By mid-2020, we realized that our 'Why' extended beyond our immediate team. We expanded our vision to include our Gardian Friends and Family - our staff, clients, and business networks.
